Location: Typically home based unless you live in the Bristol area.

In the job role trainers will deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions in the work-place.

Duties:

  • Train a cohort of learners on the new apprenticeship standards delivering Customer Service Level 2 & 3, Business Administration Level 3, Team Leading Level 3, Warehousing Level 2 & Trade Supplier Level 2
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills – Maths and English to level 2.
  • Delivering classroom / group-based training to groups of learners, along with field-based
  • Support learners throughout their programme for successful endpoint assessment
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners’
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s
  • Work to learner review and completion

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the performance and progress of trainees, providing constructive feedback and guidance for them to improve and develop their skills.
  • Maintain records and evidence of trainee performance and progression.
  • Build positive working relationships with trainees and their employers.
  • Participate in continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • Recognised assessing or teaching qualification
  • Must hold a level 2 or equivalent qualification in English and Maths
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and to meet deadlines.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards training and development.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK
  • Full, clean driving licence

Essential Experience

  • Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships and Apprenticeships Standards
  • Hold solid occupational competency in delivery areas
  • Good level of IT Skills – Microsoft Office & ePortfolio Systems
  • Must be comfortable with and have experience with group-based delivery
