Samuel Drowley – F&W Trainer/Assessor
Sam is a Trainer/Assessor for the F&W department.
Sam started his working career by having a role as a Learning Mentor at Bristol Hospital Education Centre for 6 years, working with young people with mental health difficulties.
He has also worked at BoConcept as part of the Furniture assembly and delivery team.
It was only four years ago when he realised he had a keen eye for woodwork, this was by attending a Windsor chair making course at Westonbirt Arboretum and straight away realising this interested him.
Since then he has attended a course at City of Bristol and is passing with a Distinction grade. During his time on the course he had completed several furniture projects, including a Console table that he designed himself.
Sam joined Didac in March 2020
In his spare time Sam enjoys surfing and spending time on the beach. He also enjoys listening to his records.
Sam is a keen tennis player, playing regularly for Bristol Central Tennis Club.
