Last academic year our achievement rates were 64%, which is 12% above the national average.

We seem to have carved out a niche in furniture, woodworking, kitchen and joinery products, builders merchants and electrical distributors delivering foundation (Level 2) and advanced (Level 3) vocational skills through funded apprenticeships in England.

We are very proud of our achievement rates which we put down to the hard work of the apprentices, their co-workers and our trainers. We get huge satisfaction from their achievements and now that we are into our 24th year of apprentice training, we have seen many of them progress onto fantast things in their careers.

We deliver all of our management and warehousing apprenticeship training in the workplace, so it’s highly relevant to each apprentices job role.

Furniture & woodworking skills are also delivered in the workplace, but increasingly, employers are sending their apprentices to the Woodwise Academy, on the banks of the River Avon, Bristol, for day or block release training.

To become an Apprentice

In order to qualify for our apprenticeship program, you must be 16 or over. You must also not be in full-time education and you must live in England.

You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re starting your career, want a change or you’re upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship.
